Mini Case Assignment 1C

Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is for students to build the skills and ability to understand and apply OB concepts to business situations. The Mini Case Assignments will involve the identification of core OB concepts linked to key aspects of a case provided to students.

Case: John has been in his customer service role for five years. He does not feel connected to his work or a deep sense of passion for his work anymore. He often feels angry, sad and frustrated at work but has to put a smile on his face every time he meets his customers. He has started to speak poorly to his team members and project his frustration on to them. His leader is concerned about his low level of work performance and how his behaviour is impacting the team.

Action Required:

An Organizational Behaviour Concept is a theoretical idea, or model, developed by Organizational Behaviour research that is related to a topic. Each week, in Organization Behaviour, we learn about many concepts such as Emotional Intelligence or Attribution Theory.
