On November $7,2022,$ Barry Anderson, an avid Florida football fan, went to Green$$s Groceries in Rainbow City to buy some food and beer for a party to celebrate Florida$$s victory over Georgia in the football game earlier that day. Barry was so proud of his team that he wore his Florida Gators football jersey to the grocery store.$$ While he was in the aisle where the chips are stocked, a Georgia fan wearing his Georgia football jersey approached Barry.$$ The Georgia fan, Roger Redsmith, introduced himself and then started to harass Barry and threatened to $$kick his a@#$.$

Linda Littleton was also in the chip aisle.$$ She was afraid that Roger was going to attack Barry, so she ran to the customer service desk and told the manager, John Day, what was happening.$$ John hurried to the chip aisle and confronted Roger.$$ He told Roger that he needed to leave the store immediately.$$ Roger stated that he wanted to continue his grocery shopping.$$ The manager became very angry and proceeded to grab Roger and escort him out of the store. When the manager grabbed Roger to take him out of the store, Roger$$s arm became dislocated. Roger was in so much pain, he could not drive home.$$ He called his wife who came and immediately drove him to the hospital.$$ Roger was treated at the hospital and was released later that evening.$$
