Question:
- On this assignment you will use object-oriented programming techniques to make a pair of classes, Lobbyist and LobbyistActivity, that will allow you to hold all of the relevant information related to the lobbying activities one lobbyist performs. The data you will be downloading will include the fields seen below (the fields in BOLD are found in every record - the remaining fields are only present if there is income received):
lobbyistlastname, lobbyistfirstname, lobbyistaddress1, lobbyistaddress2, lobbyistcity, lobbyiststate, lobbyistzip, primarylobbyistid, annuallobbyistregistrationid, officialstatelobbyist, clientname, clientlastname, clientfirstname, clientmiddlename, clientsuffix, clientaddress1, clientaddress2, clientcity, clientstate, clientzip, billinformationandposition, reportmonth, fiscalyear, reportduedate, clientbusinessdescription, clienttypeofbusiness, clientstatus, clientstartdate, clientenddate, incomeamount, dateincomereceived
- Your Lobbyist class should:
- A unique lobbyist identifier
- Contain one or more other attributes unique to the lobbyist so that you can know what lobbyist you are analyzing on future projects.
- Contain a list of LobbyistActivities (this is similar to the list of Articles found in the Author class)
- Contain a method to allow you to add new LobbyistActivities to the LobbistActivities list in the Lobbyist class.
- It will be important that your LobbyistActivity class includes:
- A unique lobbyist identifier
- The name of the client work is performed for (if any)
- A relevant date related to the current lobbying activity (either report date or date income received (if any))
- The amount of income received by the lobbyist (if any)
