Question 1

Employees at ABC Company are complaining that there are salary differences across departments, i.e., Sales, Purchasing, Advertising and Engineering. A sample of 46 employees were selected at random from the four departments and their salaries were recorded in the excel file attached as "Salary Across Departments."

Based on the data provided, use One-Way ANOVA to find out if there are significant salarydifferences betweenthe four departments.

In specific, please do the following:

1. Create a hypothesis testing for the One-Way ANOVA
2. Use Excel's ToolPak to compute the One-Way ANOVA.
3. Submit your statistical findings.
4. Based on the statistical findings, explain if there are any significant differences between thepopulations' means. Please interpret your answer.

Question 2.

You are assigned to examine the effect of various types of music on relaxation levels in patients who are in the early and middle stages of Alzheimer's disease. Patients were selected to participate in the study based on their stage of Alzheimer's disease. Three forms of music were tested: R&B, Blues, and Reggae. While listening to music, agitation levels were recorded for the patients with a high score indicating a higher level of agitation. Scores are recorded in excel sheet attached as Effectiveness of Music.
