Operational assessment involves undertaking a study to analyze and determine whetherand how wellthe organization's needs can be met by completing the project.

Operational feasibility elements include:

1) Process - Input and analysis from everyone the new redesign will affect along with a data matrix on ideas and suggestions from the original plans.

Defining the project scope. Determining current market trends and conducting detailed risk analysis. Defining and reviewing technical and organizational requirements for project viability.

2)Evaluation - Determinations from the process suggestions; will the redesign benefit everyone? Who is left behind? Who feels threatened?

Whether or not the process within the organization will work but also if it can work. Implementation - Stakeholder, manager, and end-user tasks.

3)Resistance - What areas and individuals will be most resistant? Develop a change resistance plan. Includes people-oriented and social issues: internal issues, such as manpower problems, labour objections, manager resistance, organizational conflicts and policies; also external issues, including legal aspects and government regulations, also social acceptability of the new system.

4)Implementation - Identify resources both inside and out that will work on the redesign. How will the redesign construction interfere with current work?

5) Strategies - How will the organization deal with the changed workspace environment? Do new processes or structures need to be reviewed or implemented in order for the redesign to be effective?
