An automobile company manufactures sedans and SUVs. The number of vehicles that can be sold each of the next six months is listed in Table 1 below. Each sedan sells for $28,000, and each SUV sells for $39,000. It costs $25,000 to produce a sedan and $31,500 to produce an SUV. To hold a vehicle in inventory for one month costs $350 per sedan and $500 per SUV. Backorders are not allowed. During each month, at most 1,500 vehicles can be produced. Please formulate a balanced transportation problem to maximize the company's profit for the next six months. Please use GAMS to find the optimal solution and optimal value.
