Option $2$: Solve a transportation problem

Go to the library to borrow any management science $($example$)$ or operational research $($example$)$ textbook. Some are available as ebooks. In the table of content, locate the chapter which is about transportation problems $($you can also look at transhipment problems; make sure that you stick to supply chain problems$).$ Select one problem from the list of exercises in your textbook and solve it$.$ You should follow the $6$ steps above as the same marking scheme will be used. The introduction should just present the problem, and you should present your objective qualitatively $($question $2)$ and mathematically $($question $3).$ In question $4,$ show the transportation tableau and solve the problem $($either with Excel's solver or the manual method$).$ In question $5,$ produce your own, additional, risk analysis and use it to perform a sensitivity analysis of your results in question $6.$
