Compile an incident action plan for the crisis using the benefit of hindsight and the lessons learned in the three CL courses. Identify the type of crisis using literature and examples. Offer potential origins of the crisis. Provide evidence as to decisions made by the various leaders - not managers - and how those decisions played out. Identify the strategic implications of the crisis on the organization, both during the response and recovery and post-recovery. Include the following topics in the plan:

Opportunities for shared leadership,

Identify disadvantaged populations [if applicable] and how the crisis impacted them,

Discuss ways the organization/community could have leveraged social capital,

Ways technology could have supported the response, and

Include provisions for managing leader emotions throughout the crisis.
