For our team's case study, we will be looking in depth about the resurfacing of BestBuy as one of the world's largest physical electronic retail stores. Our team will be looking closely into one of the former CEO's Hubert Joly who kept BestBuy afloat through his big idea of a price match guarantee, as well as a former Target executive Rob Bass, who helped improve BestBuy's supply chain logistics and make it more efficient. The major crisis BestBuy was facing back in 2012 was the potential of bankruptcy after a major surge in online click and mortar companies such as Amazon. It took many individuals to keep Bestbuy afloat after this 2012 scare but they have continued to become and stay, as one of the largest physical electronic stores in the world.
