Overview and Objectives

In this assignment, you will review all of the functions you have covered in this course: Linear, Quadratic, Exponential, Rational, and Radical. You will write the equation and graph the parent function for all 5 functions. You will then attempt to translate each parent function so that they are in quadrants 1,2,4 only. If it is not possible to translate the parent function into quadrants 1,2,4, then state an explanation and graph it in two quadrants only. You will write the equation of your translated function and the domain/range for it. Lastly, you will write a reflection summary on the experience to submit with your assignment.

What you will submit

1. You will be submitting a PDF of the table provided. You can include links to your Desmos graphs separately if you have trouble putting them in the table.
2. Submit a PDF of your summary reflection response.

Instructions:

The table has been created for you in a Worksheet. The worksheet is available as a Google Doc., Word, or PDF Worksheet. If you don't have access to Google Docs. or Microsoft Word, download the PDF and create the worksheet in an application of your choice. If you use the Google doc. version, download your completed worksheet as a PDF. You MUST complete the worksheet and upload it as a PDF. All graphs need to be inserted into the Worksheet, and every line item completed. Do NOT upload individual graphs; your work needs to be organized.

All images should be original. Graph them using a digital calculator such as Desmos.com.

• Export a graph from Desmos by choosing 'Share' and then 'Export', or you can 'Print' them as a PDF. Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of your graph. Insert the graph images into the worksheet table.
