Overview:

As your system grows, storage management becomes increasingly important because "there is only so much to go around." Part of storage management focuses on ensuring you have a proper backup of your system configurations and data. In this module's course project assignment, it is pertinent to capture an image of your workstation - both for recovery purposes and image deployment.

An image preparation plan for Windows 10, a popular Linux Distribution. The plan should utilize either built-in tools or third-party solutions and include an image maintenance plan. As a reminder, SOHO Inc. has the following requirements as it relates to their system imaging needs:

A system image will need to be captured for each system for maintenance and data recovery (if needed).

To assist with your plan's development, ask yourself the following questions:

What type of information does the data contain?

How often does the data change?

Can you supplement backups with other tools (e.g. shadow copies, file history, etc.)?

How quickly do you need to recover the data?

Do you need to store backups off-site?
