OVERVIEW
In Modules 1 and 2, you began to define, collect, organize, visualize, and analyze a single set of data using the concepts and skills learned in this course. (This will be an application of the DCOVA framework.)
In this third module, you create a confidence interval with your data. Remember that a contribution to the project portfolio will be required for each module.
An example project demonstrating the requirements for these contributions for each module is provided in each module.
INSTRUCTIONS
Please see the project and answer the following questions below
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make corrections and improvements on the project above.
2. Complete an initial analysis of your work after.
3. include contributions from project above with corrections,
4. evaluate the type of sampling used and make recommendations for improvement for future sampling,
5. create a confidence interval that can be used to estimate the true population parameter for your data and
6. validate the proper sample size needed to carry on further study.
Project
I want to test if the mean sleeping hours of my co-work are more significant than 8 hours or not.
I rely on sampling techniques like convenience sampling. I ask my friends and their friends on Facebook about the number of hours they sleep. In this way, I collect 30 responses. The data collected is given below.

The table of descriptive statistics is given below
| Mean | 7.3 |
| Standard Error | 0.362463 |
| Median | 7 |
| Mode | 7 |
| Standard Deviation | 1.985291 |
| Sample Variance | 3.941379 |

| Skewness | -0.24874 |
| Range | 6 |
| Minimum | 4 |
| Maximum | 10 |
| Sum | 219 |
| Count | 30 |
The mean number of hours slept by my 30 friends is 7.3. The Median is 7 which implies half of my friends have sleeping hours less than 7 and the other half has more than 7 sleeping hours. Mode is the number occurring a maximum number of times. This implies the maximum number of hours of sleep is of 7 hours.
