Overview:

Using all knowledge accumulated throughout the term to complete the final project. Being able to navigate

and apply the National Building code $($part $9)$ is essential when working with wood framed construction

projects.

General Instructions: This is an individual assignment. Students are to complete the notes, dimensions based

on code minimums. Complete section details using National Building Code $($canada$)$

Provide at minimum the following.

Foundation: Footing and foundation wall size, drain tile size and location, sill plate anchorage. Grade level

$($vinyl siding$).$ Porch foundation depth. Slab thickness.

Wood framed porch deck: Deck joist size, beam size, post size, decking. Roof framing $($ceiling joist and roof

rafter$),$ built$-$up lintel, post size.
