Part 1: A good research question can help the writer determine whether a topic is researchable. Read the article on how to create a good research question and read over the information for your course project. For this weeks discussion, do some preliminary research to come up with a good research question. Answer the following questions about the research question:

1. Is it a current topic?
2. Is it researchable?
3. Does it address my audience well?
4. Is it too broad or too narrow?

Part 2: Once you have created a good research question, the answer to your research question (in one sentence) should be your thesis statement. Create a workable thesis statement to share and elicit feedback for improvement.
