Part 1: Professional Development Plan

Directions:

Professional Development Plan for an academic year using the table below. The Plan will include the following components.

1. Focus for Professional Development: You will identify a specific high-leverage topic for improvement for professional development.
2. Gaps in Instructional Practices: You will identify what teachers are missing in their current instructional practices that impact student learning.
3. Objectives for Improved Instructional Practices: You will identify high-leverage, research-based instructional practices that will improve equitable student academic achievement.
4. Follow-up:Develop a follow-up plan, consisting of a minimum of 5 steps, to ensure at least 90% implementation of the high-leverage, research-based instructional practices. Your steps must include strategies that address feedback, observation, and reflection.
