POST 1

Good morning class!

My name is Antwain Jones, and I'm a Sensor Operator for the United States Air Force, starting my 7th year of enlistment. A little about myself, I love to draw and watch anime, I'm a gym rat, and I enjoy cutting hair on the side for a little extra income. I've recently finished my first assignment out of Cannon AFB ,and started my second at Creech AFB which is a very much needed change of scenery.

I've recently finished my CCAF which is pretty much an Air Force associate's degree specializing in my career field. I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in information technology and I'm excited. This is to fulfill my long term goal of eventually commissioning and becoming an officer in the military. I was so sure that I was going to pursue Finance for my bachelor's degree, but I just recently changed my mind. Considering the direction everything is heading with AI, and the internet for example, I think I want to roll the dice on IT.

I'm taking this class to finish my degree. I'm in my fourth and final year of school to finish my undergraduate. I'm not sure exactly what to expect from this class but I hope to pick up at least a useful skill or two, and I'm looking forward to working with you all throughout the upcoming assignments. Can't wait to meet and interact with you all over the next couple weeks, and also I go by AJ.

Hello class,

My name is Ann. I'm from the East Coast, a small town located in Delaware. I am blessed to be a mom to a 10-month-old boy who is filled with so much energy and love. My favorite hobbies right now are family activities such as going to the park with the little one, swimming, taking walks around town, and enjoying the little things that life has blessed me with.

I currently work for the United States Postal Service as a mail clerk and have been with the organization for about 6 years. I plan to earn my degree in Computer Technology to transition into the IT department within the Postal Service. I'm in my final two classes until I graduate, and this class stood out among the other one. The other option was a second part of a previous course I took last semester, and I wanted to engage in something new that I have no experience in. In the next 8 weeks, I hope to further my knowledge in web development and gather as much information during this time with my end goal being to successfully secure a job in IT.

The web development fundamentals that this class establishes will give me more insight into what part of computer technology I want to work in. I have no experience in web design let alone creating a website however, having creative freedom excites me.

The topic that I will be building a website on is postpartum care. This is something I am passionate about, stemming from my own personal experience. I hope to give a safe space for new parents, immediate family members, and friends of relatives with mothers who may experience postpartum.
