Question: Part 1 , Step 1 . Build a network diagram to include task Ids and task descriptions within the correct spaces in the network boxes

Part 1, Step 1. Build a network diagram to include task Ids and task descriptions within the correct spaces in the network boxes to be shown in your Excel file. This network diagram will be completed in parts 2 through 6 as described below. Use arrows to show the sequencing of tasks (predecessors and successors). Please graphically stack parallel activities in your diagram the boxes/activities that may be performed at the same time. See the example below that shows a final diagram as yours should be structured in your Excel file. This example is for another type of problem (descriptions, layout and values differ):
Part 2(1 point). In this part, you will estimate durations (in weeks) for each task and include the values in the appropriate space in the network boxes by updating the Excel file. You will use your best judgement for these durations based on your knowledge of analytic project problem solving processes.
Part 3(1 point). For part 3, you will complete a forward pass to establish early start (ES) and early finish (EF) times. These values will also be included in the Excel file network diagram.
Part 4(1 point). For this part, you will complete a backward pass to establish late start (LS) and late finish (LF) times. These values will also be included in the Excel file network diagram.
Part 5(1 point). You will now calculate slack (SL) times for each network box. These values will also be included in the Excel file network diagram.
Part 6(1 point). In part 6, you will find the critical path and clearly identify it will red arrows or red network boxes in your network diagram.
Part 7(5 points). Answer the following questions by entering your answers after each question:
1. What is the total project duration?
Answer:
2. What tasks make up the critical path?
Answer:
3. What tasks can be delayed without delaying the whole project?
Answer:
4. What tasks, if delayed, will delay the whole project?
Answer:
5. What should the project manager do if a task on the critical path is in jeopardy of being delayed?
Answer:
Submittal - Deliveries
Submit your assignment by embedding your responses to Part 7 as instructed within this Microsoft Word document. This Microsoft Word file with your answers to Part 7 shall be submitted in the course D2L assignment drop box along with a single Excel file showing your completed network diagram before the posted deadline. Be sure to complete the above first page cover sheet. Please keep your answers short, concise and to the point a single number for question 1 and one or two sentences for the others will do. Do not submit a PDF file or use bold, underlines, italics, colors or highlights within your answers.
