Of the six options listed below, one of them is an ethically mature action using the criteria of the Results Lens, one is ethically acceptable, and one represents an ethically immature action. The other three options define ethical behavior through the perspective of the Responsibilities Lens, which we explored previously.

Best Option: An ethically mature option is one where you creatively seek solutions that will achieve the greatest ethical good $-$ help people reach ethical goals$-$for the greatest number of people.

Good Option: A good ethical option is one where you know that you and others have choices. As you seek mutually good results, you live with the consequences and don't whine.

Poor Option: A poor ethical option is one where you think only of yourself, become preoccupled with short$-$term goals, and settle for too little good.

Given this analysis, you must now choose the option that best reflects the ethical goals and values of the Results Lens. What action will create the greatest ethical good for the greatest number of people?
