Part $2-$ Chi Square $(2)$ Goodness of Fit

Pretend you want to open a wireless store in Bemidji. Knowing that only two carriers work in town, you feel there is room for another carrier. You just don't know which one, and if people would like it better than the two existing carriers. In an$.$ attempt to answer these questions, you distribute a survey with four descriptions on it$,$ each describing the offerings of a particular wireless carrier. Two of the carriers already exist in Bemidji. The other two are your options for a new carrier. The names of the carriers are left off in order to prevent any brand bias. Participants must choose which of the four they would prefer. Fifty participants take part in the survey. The results are below.
