PART 2: Creating a Social Enterprise There are different models of social entrepreneurship that are described in you chapter (see Figure 4.2) Social purpose ventures, social consequence ventures, and enterprising nonprofits and their relationship to social entrepreneurship Identify a contemporary wicked problem in society (ie, a wicked problem is a term coined in the 1960s that refers to large, complex social problems where there is no clear solution, where there is limited, confusing, or contradictory information available, and which is debated by a whole range of people with conflicting values) Propose an entrepreneurial solution using one of the social enterprise models mentioned in Section 4.2 Briefly describe the a) wicked problem, b) the entrepreneurial solution, and c) why the social entrepreneurship model which you chose would best deliver the solution in approximately 200-250 words (approximately two paragraphs).
