Application Project Part 4: PDSA and Death Threats Skill APPLICATION PROJECT Semester Class Project, Build a Concept or Functional prototype of your FINAL idea.

One reason to build prototypes is to get higher-quality feedback from customers and/or stakeholders. Prototypes also force us to think deeper about the idea and can spark fresh thinking and necessary pivots.

A concept prototype is a yellow card or a visualization of your Yellow Card.

For example, a brochure, a technical rendering, a flow chart, a storyboard, a mock-up of an advertisement poster, etc. A functional prototype is a demonstration of all or part of the meaningful uniqueness that the innovation will deliver. Building Concept and Functional prototypes separately will save you time and money.

Build a Concept or Functional prototype of your idea in order to run a 2-step Rapid Test and get feedback on your idea. Submit photos or drawings or a clear description of your prototype (such as a Yellow Card) and documentation of your test, using the PDSA format. Your PLAN, or desired outcome for this cycle, is to achieve a 7.0 for the concept.
