Part A: Prepare a draft operational plan

This activity requires you to draft an operational plan for the organisation.

Before drafting the operational plan, you are required to gather, interpret, and analyse workplace documentation to determine requirements for the operational plan (these have been provided to you in the case study in Item 15).

When preparing the operational plan, you must select and use mathematical problem-solving strategies to organise resource requirements, performance benchmarks, and financial viability of the operational plan.

The draft operational plan must include the following details:

• Purpose of the operational plan
• Organisational goals
• Strategies
• Key performance indicators
• Timeframe
• Person responsible
• Budget
• Resources required
• Monitoring process
• Contingency plans

The draft operational plan must be prepared using the Operational Plan template provided.

The Operational Plan template is available on student portal, under the BSBOPS502 unit, the same place you find your assessment and class notes.
