For the building above, the plan view of the first floor of the building looks like Figure $2.$ Calculate the

factored maximum shear and moment in the interior concrete beams and draw the factored shear and

moment diagrams for one of the interior reinforced concrete beams on Floor $1$ using the dead and live

loading described in Problem $1($only the dead and live loading$)$ and the following information. Check all

applicable load combinations. Assume beams are simply supported and not continuous across the column

lines. Figure $2$ shows a plan view of the building and indicates the interior reinforced concrete beams.

Draw the moment diagram on the tension side of the beam as we have been doing in class and make sure

to label all axis and plots clearly.
