The project you will be dealing with in this case study is about the Information System of Apart-Hotel Dayat Aaoua. This apart-hotel has been built in 2006 and it has 32 rooms/apartments, 6 duplexes and 4 suites. The rooms are equipped with TV, Satellite, which assure comfort to the clients. The apart-hotel also consists of a restaurant with international and Moroccan food, Salle de caf, and a nightclub. Although this apart-hotel is new and relatively small, the required paperwork is quite overwhelming for the owner, Mr. Oudghiri Ghandi, who believes that a software system will allow to store and exploit the data/information in a more organized/consistent manner. Basically, Mr. Oudghiri wants a software tool that focuses on the following aspects:
Rooms allocation including Reservation;
Check-in;
Check-out;
Billing.
Considering the General Requirements specified by Mr. Oudghiri, and, assuming a typical 3.5Tiers Architecture is chosen, with the following Technology Stack tools:
Java Swing for Back and Front ends User Interface Programming,
Java under Eclipse IDE Environment, for the Intelligence Programming, and
Oracle/MySql as DBMS.
