Sara's Pets is a closely held, debt-financed, retail establishment that, as the name implies, specializes in pet products. Sara's Pets buys pets, and pet accessories such as food, beds, medicines, leases, pet costumes, and sells the products to the public Sara's Pets sells many different pets, such as snakes, dogs, cats, birds and turtles. As they would like to track each pet separately, each pet is given a unique ID number Birds have unique features or attributes that the client wishes to capture using generalization. Pet costumes and food also have special attributes that require use of generalization. Pet accessories are maintained in stocks or quantities; while each pet is given a unique ID number Customers place orders with Sara's Pets to buy their animals and/or pet accessories. An order requires at least one Sales Rep, but may require more, as some Sales Reps specialize in certain animals, such as lizards. An exotic animal order requires special care, and therefore will be handled by the owner, Sara. If multiple items are needed and are available, those items are all included on a single order. A sales order may include both pets and accessories. An order may include 1 pet, multiple pets, 1 accessory, or multiple accessories. An order may include only accessories, only pets or both pets and accessories. A credit manager approves all sales orders. A shipping clerk packages the accessories, and/or the pets, and enters the shipment on a shipping document for entry into the system. Each shipment is moved out of the warehouse and signed off by the warehouse manager. Shipping clerks may work together on a single shipment. A shipment contains products ordered on a single sales rder or multiple sales orders, from the same customer. Not all orders will be shipped redit is not always approved. Sales orders can be shipped in their entirety, in multiple shipments, or not at all. Products can be back ordered
