Part III: Climate Change in our backyard Data is the main avenue by which we can explore important questions about the world. Creating and obtaining that data sometimes seems like a monumental and daunting task, but in the case of climate data, there are centuries' worth of carefully measured and catalogued weather information from locations all over the world. In this exercise, we will use data that was collected to monitor the weather to see if we can find evidence for a change in the climate over the course of that record. In the process, you will get a glimpse of the great depth and diversity of data that is archived and, often completely unbeknown to most people, freely available.
