Part One: Students should choose one dimension from the boxes below and discuss the dimension as it relates to a person in recovery from either mental illnes or substance use disorders. The discussion should show that you have a clear understanding of the dimension you chose and how/why it is important to a person in recovery from mental illness or substance use disorders. Clearly identify what you are discussing. Example: This post will discuss the dimension of home as it relates to a person in recovery from mental illness. Dimensions: Purpose Home Community Health For example, a student may choose to write about the dimension of purpose and recovery related to mental illness. Part Two: Find at least 3, but no more than 5, local resources that may benefit a person in recovery. Resources are places the person can go to get help. Discuss the resource including; 1. Who it is intended to serve? 2. How can a person access the service? 3. How is the service provided? (i.e., group, individual, online, skype, etc....)
