Participants will be split into control & treatment based on Costco. They will take a prior survey
Question:
Participants will be split into control & treatment based on Costco. They will take a prior survey as to which they prefer (Costco or Grey Goose Vodka). We will then inform the treatment group that there is speculation that the grey goose is Costco vodka.
Marketing no-brand as "This is Vodka from the same supplier as Grey Goose"
They will sample two drinks (with labels for control, w/o for treatment). They will then get to pick which drink they would want to have another.
Goal: What use is this information to Costco's COO of Merchandising?
It is an experiment that explores whether this is a strongadvertising technique
Explores the Alcohol Beverage Market, but can be attributed to many other no-label brand products Costco has (high return)
what would be the randomization here? pls help
