Passing this class is riding on this assignment. I have answered almost all the questions needed for the template but I'm not sure where/how I'm supposed to reword everything so that it fits where its supposed to. I desperately need help. ********************Questions & Answers********************

  1. What should the vision statement be for the coffee shop? What should be the mission statement for the organization?
  • Mission Statement
  • "We want our customers to be able to enjoy great customer service and amazing coffee while they socialize with each other. We don't want them to feel like this is just any old coffee shop, we want them to feel at home so they keep coming back." (Adcock, 2018)
  • Vision Statement
  • "Our vision is for Tim's Coffee to become the best cup of coffee around and we hope to connect with our customers and bring them the best of the best in products and service."(Adcock, 2018)
  1. What are good short and long term goals for the coffee shop? Explain how they will be met.
  • Short Term
  • "Make sure all technology is up-to-date and in good working order"(Adcock, 2018)
  • "Make sure employees are well trained so they can provide excellent customer service"(Adcock, 2018)
  • "Offering free Wi-Fi to customers so that they can complete any work that they need to without feeling like they have to rush out so they can get Wi-Fi somewhere else"(Adcock, 2018)
  • "In order to achieve the short-term goals Tim would need to start by updating his register system, adding a credit/debit card machine, and making it easier for employees to clock in and out. Most people don't carry around cash and it is an inconvenience to have to stop at an ATM every time you want a cup of coffee."(Adcock, 2018)
  • Long Term
  • "Offer Tim's Coffee in grocery stores and open another location"(Adcock, 2018)
  • "Change up the menu to offer a wider variety of pastries, sandwiches, and drinks"(Adcock, 2018)
  • "Renovate the seating area so that it is more comfortable and customer friendly"(Adcock, 2018)
  • "Opening another location would be a big thing for Tim's since he only has one location and he is surrounded by another "coffee chain". Also offering Tim's coffee in grocery stores will help to bring in more customers. Customers like convenience and comfort. So, by updating the menu and offering more of a variety when it comes to foods and snacks a lot of people will be happy. Also, making the seating area more comfortable will make people want to stay and enjoy their coffee while they use their laptops (on the free Wi-Fi) and they don't feel like they have to rush anywhere."(Adcock, 2018)

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • "The ADA prohibits private employers, governments, recruiting agencies and labor unions from discriminating against qualified candidates with disabilities in job application procedures, hiring, firing, advancement, compensation, job training and other employment processes. • State
  • Mississippi Antitrust Laws
  • "The American economy is based on capitalism, a system that requires business competition. Restraining free trade can disrupt that economic model. These antitrust laws prohibit the creation of monopolies and agreements between companies that reduce competition."(Mississippi Antitrust Laws, n.d.)
  • Mississippi Wage and Hour Laws
  • "The Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) is a federal law that provides the United States with minimum wage and hour laws. States have the right to enact their own wage and hour laws as long as the state law doesn't dip below the federal minimum. • "Although not a requirement, it has become common for businesses to return some of their earnings to the communities in which they operate. Small businesses often budget funds each year to give to local nonprofits."(Kokemuller, n.d.)

Not only does it provide convenience to customers who have busy lives, but it can eliminate in-store marketing campaigns."(Twist, 2017)
  • Population Growth and Tourism
  • "As the population increases it will determine the amount of retail sales. This depends on which demographic is larger - newborns or baby boomers.
