Question:
A WBS is created for a project. The WBS contains a work package called “sill flashing" which is a child task (sub task) of two higher level tasks named "Exterior Masonry" and "Windows" Both parent packages are on the same immediately preceding level in the WBS. During the project, the Masonry Contractor and the Window subcontractor claim the other to be responsible for this aspect of the project. Where did this all go wrong and how could this dispute have been prevented?
