Overview

Pathophysiology is the study of how a disease progresses in the body. As you can imagine, there are many disorders and diseases that can occur. The purpose of this individual project is to be introduced to these many different diseases or disorders via research. In this project, you will research and report on a specific disease or disorder. The project will span the entire duration of the course and have deliverables due in many modules, with the complete project-a 4- to 5-minute presentation with a written component-due in Module 7.

Instructions

For Deliverable #1, you will select (or be assigned) a disease or disorder. The main purpose of this project is to provide you with a broad spectrum of disorders that can be reviewed; therefore, duplicate disorders or diseases will not be allowed. For this reason, the instructor will approve the topic selections as they are submitted and notify you of any change in topic that may be required in the first module.

Activity

1. Select a disease or disorder to research. You may reference the textbook for possible diseases and disorders; however, you are not limited to the textbook and can choose other topics.
2. do a sentence paragraph that includes the following:
   1. Introduce the disease or disorder
   2. Explain why you would like to research this disease
   3. Discuss any pathophysiology information that made you interested in this disease or disorder
3. put incite citation and apa 7 format
