Module $03$ Case Scenario

In the first two parts of the technical manual, you learned about microprocessors, RAM, motherboards, and hard drives and how important these components are to a customer's desktop PC$.$ For this part of the technical manual, you will be rounding out your knowledge of components by learning how to make them all work together. Review the article on how to build a PC listed in the Resources section of the assignment page.

When thinking about building this PC$,$ consider the RAM, Motherboard, Video Card, Processor, Hard drive, Monitor, IOS, BIOS, power supply, and case.

For this section of the training manual, you are building a new computer $($desktop$)$ for your customer. You will choose a case, motherboard, RAM, Video Card, processor, hard drive, monitor operating system, BIOs, power supply and even a cooling fan for the following scenario.

A customer wishes to replace their current PC$,$ which they have had for at least $5$ years and has been extremely slow and nonresponsive at times.

The customer anticipates that, over the next few months, they will need to be able to use the new PC for video editing for their new job, check email, and store large amounts of data, videos, and photos. They have a budget of $$1000.$ You are tasked with providing recommendations for the user based on their needs. In pages $2-3,$ provide recommendations to your customer on what components will be needed in the new PC$.$

Then, provide step by step procedures on how you would install these components. Keep in mind that all components must work together. For this project, use the internet to identify appropriate components. Include a description of each component, along with pricing for each component, and an explanation behind your reasoning for choosing each component. Remember to stay within the customer's budget. Make sure to properly cite your sources using APA standards including in$-$text citation and properly formatted references on the reference page.
