Peer review for: For this week's reflection paper, I will be reflecting on the BACB task list item G-20 Use self-management strategies. This is an important skill to have for any profession, but in ABA, deadlines are crucial to our practice for multiple reasons (client programming and data review, re-assessment reports for client insurance, session notes, etc.). I would define the use of self-management strategies in that the trainee is able to prioritize tasks assigned by their supervisor and complete them by the set deadlines. I would implement fundamental measures and use permanent products to evaluate the trainee's performance. If the trainee was unable to complete their responsibilities by the set deadlines, I would then implement a self-assessment for them to complete and schedule a supervision meeting with them. At the start of this meeting, I would emphasize that the meeting is to provide support and determine how I can help them achieve their goals. Together I would establish any areas they feel they need additional support from myself and set up goals with their input
