People are different. Much of this difference seems to occur arbitrarily. For example, imagine two babies that are born with very different levels of intelligence. Even if they receive the same care and attention from their parents, they will likely earn very different incomes when they grow up and enter the labor market. Is the resulting inequality just or should we try to reduce it? Discuss.
