    For this assignment I made a BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato) sandwich.

    The steps I took to make the sandwich were:

  9. Cook bacon strips
  10. Slide tomato
  11. Wash lettuce
  12. Top toasted bread with mayonnaise
  13. Layer bacon, tomato and lettuce
  14. Observations: the second time I made the sandwich I cooked the bacon first so that I could drain those on a paper towel and remove the oil, I made the process a little longer but tasted better. I also used a higher heat for the toasting of my bread and the bacon took longer to get crunchy for the third/final round

    Performance Rating: 0.95 (I think it is a little slower than the average time for a BLT as I dont have a toaster and need to use the same pan for the bread and bacon, this could be faster if I was able to do these simultaneously.

    Standard Time:

    OT = (15 + 16.5 + 17.5) / 3 = 49 / 3 = 16.3 mins

    NT = 16.3 * 0.95 = 15.52 mins (rounded)

    * In this case the Normal Time is the standard time as I didnt take any breaks during this task.

    Standard Deviation:

    s = ((17.5 mins 16.3 mins) ^2 ) / 3 -1 = (1.2)^2 / 2 = 1.44 / 2 = 0.72 mins

    I think this process become longer as there were several aspects of the first round that could be improved on and added additional time. In addition to this, the toasting process became quicker due to observations from the time before as well. The process could be even more efficient with more suited equipment like a bread toaster, which as mentioned above, would allow me to do the task of cooking and toasting simultaneously. The steps within the repetitions of making the sandwiches did remain relatively the same each round. Dont copy this hint but you have to give your answer in this pattern
