Philosophy of Education (20 points): You will compose a Philosophy of Education that reflects the teaching methodologies or beliefs that guide (or will guide) your classroom practice, using the questions and prompts provided below as a guide. Your Philosophy of Education should go beyond a simple statement of beliefs and incorporate the class readings and materials. You may either cite these materials directly in your Philosophy of Education, or you may choose to annotate your writing using the "insert comment" function in Microsoft Word (or a comparable tool, like Google docs, etc.).
Your paper should address the following notes in some capacity:
Your first paragraph should include what you believe the goal of education is and the educational philosophy or philosophies you connect with as an educator.
What is your personal philosophy about your role as a teacher in the educational system?
What do you believe is the role of the teacher?
Your supporting paragraphs should provide specific example of how your philosophy of education comes to life in your classroom (Consider classroom management, activities, classroom environment...).
Your final paragraph should provide a summary and of your philosophy and how you will continue to reflect on your ideas.
