Pick a technology, device, software, or object that people use. Think of the term "technology" very broadly for this activity. Your choice could be a sophisticated device or could be something much simpler. Get creative with your choices; something does not have to be fancy or complicated to be considered technological.
However, the technology/device/software/object you choose must somehow interact with long-term memory. To make things a little more challenging (and so I do not read 80 identical posts about the same tech), you cannot discuss any of the following typical technologies:
Cellphones (we discussed them in class already)
Laptops or computers
Cameras (video or photographic)
Once you have come up with something, create a post which answers and meets the following:
How does this technology/device/software/object interact with long-memory?
Does the thing you chose help or hinder long-term memory formation? How?
Is it impacting encoding, retrieval, or both?
Your post must connect the thing you chose to at least one concept term from the chapter. The only terms from the chapter that would not count for this requirement are encoding, retrieval, & long-term memory since it would be hard to make this post without mentioning any of them.
Try to incorporate 1 or more of the other terms from this chapter that are relevant to your post.
Put the term you use in bold in your post.
