Pitch Presentation Draft, edit and rewrite the script for the final pitch presentation (all group members must contribute). Think back to the examples from Day 1. Your pitch must be engaging and fun. Use the following checklist to ensure your pitch gets top marks: Begin with a "hook, something smart and witty to engage the audience. Add a personal touch - who are you all? How hard have you all worked over the past few days? What were the challenges? How did you overcome them? Explain and demonstrate your invention/solution. Appeal to the investors' emotions - why does the world need your invention. Explain and demonstrate your costs and profit projections. Inform the investors how much money you need from them and what the percentage of the profit they will get in return. Explain how much money the investors will make. Use images, graphics, technology and short video clips throughout Be prepared to back up everything you say with data and research! Your presentation must be colorful and use clever graphics. All students in the group must fully participate in the presentation. Tips: Practice, practice, practice! Record your presentation, watch it together as a group, make notes for improvement and then re-record it. You may need to repeat this step many times
