Pleas help! difficult Conservation Bio question.

Questions needed to be solved:

1. Show how the equilibrium theory if the island biogeography could still be correct and could support your colleagues conclusion using graphs and words.

2. Your colleagues return from the South Pacific with data on island lizards. They found that there were more species of lizards on more remote islands than on islands nearer the mainland (which seems to contradict MacArthur & Wilson's equilibrium theory). You can assume that the islands have reached "equilibrium" with respect to species richness of lizards. Show (using both graphs and words) how the equilibrium theory of island biogeography could still be correct and could actually be used to support your colleagues' conclusion (despite the apparent contradiction). In addition, include two other plausible explanations for this pattern (i.e., more lizard spp. on more remote islands). (10 pts)
