There were 108 participants in our survey. 70% of surveyors were female. The majority of the survey takers ages were between 17-27 with 53 and the following was the age range 28-38 with 37 participants. The third was 50-60 with 4 people. The lowest age range was 60+ of 1. Approximately 50% were 17-27. Around 45% of surveyors annual income is between $0 - $25,000 following that with 20% was annual incomes of $25,001 - $45,000. The majority of surveyors (42%) chose that $700 - $1,000 is their budget when buying a new phone. Leading behind that was 29% choosing between $300-$500. Our survey showed that most will choose between either a low or high budget, no in-between. The majority of surveyors chose Verizon with T-mobile following for their wireless carriers. When asked about how often do you upgrade your phone 59% chose every 2-3 years and only 8% chose every year. We can assume most hold their phones for more than 2 years. 65% chose that they own an iPhone and android lead with 35%. Approximately 60% have owned an iPhone for more than 5 years. A staggering 98% chose that they use their iPhone as their primary phone. When asked what areas do they use the iPhone in the most the data showed that it was primarily social media then following that was entertainment. Following that was entertainment and education came in last. When asked to rank in order of importance of camera, battery life, storage and display the majority was the camera with battery life second, storage third, and display last. When selecting the reason why surveyors chose the iPhone over other brands the staggering majority chose ease of use. Following that was quality then popularity. Price came in last. When asked what was a feature they wish iPhone had 34% chose removable battery & storage, 30% for split-screen ability, 23% for shared wireless charging, and 10% stating other reasons. Over 60% chose that they heard about the iPhone through their friends. Other than owning iPhones 25% own iPads and 26% own MacBooks following were apple watch and the lowest was AirPods. 93% recorded that they are happy with their iPhone. 90% of Android users did not have an iPhone before buying an android. When asked why people switched over to android the highest choice was because of prices being cheaper following that was that it had more features than the iPhone. Surprisingly, when asked if users would choose an iPhone if given the opportunity to try it out first 56% chose no.
