(2 marks) b) Give a BRIEF comparison of how a venturi meter compares to an orifice meter in terms of cost and energy loss. (2 marks) c) One characteristic feature of the Venturi meter is the gradually expanding section on the downstream side - the typical angle is 7 degrees - give a BRIEF explanation (in terms of major and minor energy losses) for why this is done.
