Mr Suresh is a 40 years old technocrat employed in MNC, joined the company at the age of 25 years. 2. His earns a salary of Rs 2 lakh per month. 3. His salary is expected to increase by 10% per annum till he superannuates at the age of 60. 4. His monthly expenses are Rs 1.8 lakh and he intends to maintain minimum same standard of living post retirement 5. He own a House having market value of Rs 50 Lakh 6. He has a Bank deposit of Rs 5 Lakh and has invested Rs 3 Lakh in Mutual Funds and Rs 2 lakh in Shares 7. He will require Rs 10 Lakh for his son's education after 10 years and Rs 20 lakh for his Daughter's marriage after 15 years. 8. Inflation of 8% to be assumed. 9. Life expectancy of 80 years to be assumed. 10. He is covered under Mediclaim policy of his Company for a value of a family floater of Rs 10 Lakh. Post retirement, Mr Suresh has to manage medical expenses on his own. Further Assumptions may be made including receipt of corpus of Provident Fund and Gratuity on his retirement. All the assumptions to be explained in the report including basis of the assumptions.
