PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS: The purpose of the assessment is to gauge competence in MS Project and its application across the project management syllabus. An outline of a project is presented, for which you are required to develop a project proposal using the format provided to be presented to the customer for consideration towards awarding the potential project work to you. DO NOT present a proposal for a project of your choice. For this assessment you are not required to cite or reference any theory. However, you must demonstrate the ability to apply the theory within the proposal for the purposes of procuring the project work. Marks will be awarded for correct representation per section in the proposal as well as for appropriately labelled and referenced extracts (graphs, tables, charts) from MS Project. Extracts are to be placed immediately before or after the discussion in the relevant section of the proposal and reference MUST be made to the extract in the discussion to get that sections full marks. The main body of the report must be no more than TWENTY (20) pages. Project Name: Kitchen Redesign Background You have just completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management and a homeowner has asked you in your capacity as a shop-fitter to submit a proposal to redesign/remodel his kitchen.
