1) Which children's shows did you choose to watch? Think about the main theme of the programs, the sequence of events in the storyline, and the nature of the characters. What did you notice about the programs' content, imagery, characters, etc. relating to potential media effects (positive or negative)? If you chose shows on two different networks, how did they compare? Please explain.

2) How did these shows compare to what you watched as a child? When you were a child, did your parents have rules about what you could do with the mass media? Did they have rules when you were a teenager? Did you have a TV in your bedroom? Do you think parents should exercise control over their children's media experiences? Why or why not?
