1. As the director, think about your goals in this case. What values guide your decision making? Specifically, what legal, political, managerial and ethical guidelines (refer to the Rosenbloom article) do you need to consider as you approach this hiring decision? Does one perspective outweigh the others in this case?

2. Now that you have a list of five finalists, evaluate your process. Are there elements of the hiring process that should have been done differently?

3. Develop a scoring matrix to rank these five candidates. The Mayor has given you money for two on location interviews in Springfield. Your matrix should include criteria that specify qualities you are seeking in a candidate (see job description above for assistance) and a ranking system that attaches a numerical value to each criteria.

4. From your scoring matrix, who are your top two ranked candidates? Why do you suppose those two candidates scored the highest? Should you use the Google information provided by your intern? Is the information relevant to the job description? Provide an ethical analysis of using (or not using) the information. What does the literature have to say about this ethical dilemma?

5. What information would you want from the on-site interview and how would you try to get this information? What questions would you want to ask? Be specific.
