QUESTION 1 (8 MARKS) Lora Burtsby founded Snowy Flakes, an ice-cream manufacturing company, in Mauritius in 2019. The company operates 1 ice-cream parlor in Moka. Today, after more than 2 years of dedication to uncompromised quality, Snowy Flakes remains a strong local brand. By mid-2023, the company's goal is to develop new ice- cream flavors and open 5 new outlets across Mauritius. The company's vision is to "constantly and courageously research new paths, invest in employees and new production technologies in order to grow into a global brand." As such, by 2030, Snowy Flakes' objective is to expand into other African markets such as Madagascar and Seychelles Since inception of Snowy Flakes till date, ownership of the company has been kept within the Burtsby family.
