Project Description Nowadays the resources available around the globe are becoming more expensive and harder to find. This problem currently goes from fossil fuels to the food each human consumes daily. The focus of this project is to create and establish a system which helps to use the organic waste produced daily, including food and plants. The system includes a circular economy in which food banks, animal shelters, biogas manufacturers and compost manufactures take advantage of the system and help reuse and reduce organic waste. Worldwide more than one third of the food gets wasted, which represents approximately 1.3 billons tons of food lost. With a meticulously designed system, all that organic waste can be converted into solutions to modern era problems, like the shortage of fossil fuels, world hunger and agriculture. The system must satisfy and bring solutions to problems that commonly come with the waste of food and organic waste; however, the system cannot develop other problems to be considered effective. The system must be able to recollect, clean, reuse, supply and provide food and organic waste to each stakeholder inside the system. The system will be based on a circular structure instead of a linear structure, that will ensure the system will run consequently and not independently. Finally, the system is expected to reduce food and organic waste effectively in the areas where it is employed. Project Objective Statement (POS) The objective of designing this system is to reduce food and organic waste drastically. The purpose is to reuse all the waste to bring solutions to the current problems that society faces. Some of these problems are world hunger, lack of fossil fuels and agricultural needs. For that reason, the system must be eficient and should achieve all its purposes, without having negative feedback from society. A well-designed system can help drastically with all these problems, and it could also help to design other systems with a similar approach towards other problems Major Deliverables 1. Completion of a proper usable project plan. - This project plan is the basic layout on the implementation and functioning of the project This should be easily implementable and should not cause further problems during implementation Major Deliverables 1. Completion of a proper usable project plan This project plan is the basic layout on the implementation and functioning of the project. This should be easily implementable and should not cute further problems during implementation The project plan is completed once at the aspects of sepian recognized and evaluated The due date is when the implementation starts from the plan 2.Collection of resources Organic waste is to be collected The collected waste should be completely utilized property and should not be wasted again from the collection - Completion is considered when the maximum is of organic waste is collected Due date is when adequate amount of waste collected and sent for processing 3. Processing waste - The waste is processed to reuse, reyde and can This processing should not have an adverse efect Considered completed once the organic wastes are processed to the final form according to plan Due date is before the waste becomes sable 4. Supply of the produce - The processed produce is supplied to the needed The supply should not reach those who are not in need Considered completion once the supplies reach the need Due dates when the supply is completed before spolage 5. Reduce food and organic wastage the system should manage food and organic waste and reduced -Should not affect Society or the environment in a bad way considered complete once this system reduces the wastage -Due when wastage decreases Benefits/Goals Benefits 1. Alternate form of creating energy (Biogas) 2. Reduces the exploitation of fool 3. Increases arquity 4. Increase water Quality 5. Reduce world hurger 5. Reduce food and organic wastage the system should manage food and organic waste and reduce it Should not affect society or the environment in a bad way considered complete once this system reduces the wastage - Due when wastage decreases Benefits/Goals Benefits: 1. Alternate form of creating energy (Biogas) 2. Reduces the exploitation of fossil fuels 3. Increases air quality 4. Increase water quality 5. Reduce world hunger 6. Reduces Greenhouse gases 7. Alternate solution of compost 8. Helps to save resources 9. Saves money 10. Helps to reduce non-organic waste (plastic, glass, and metals) Goals: 1. Create an efficient system 2. Help to reduce waste in society 3. Create conscience about our resources 4. Bring modern solutions to society's problems 5. Reduce pollution 6. Increase food, air, and water quality 7. Extend life of our fossil fuels 8. Create an accessible cost to agriculture 9. Promote recycling 10. To have a reliable system of management and distribution of bio-waste Sustainability Metrics and Targets 1. Monetary Value - Monetary impact of possible risks 2. Staff hours - Technical assistance to conduct food waste audits, and monitor food waste on an ongoing basis. 3. Surveys - Percentage and amount of food waste reduced by participant when learning about organic waste issues 4. Flyers Brochures - Number of prevention education materials distributed 5. Meetings - Conduct the meetings of the communication plan ii. Stakeholder Needs and Requirements - you must list and explain in detail 15 of the SNRs, you must describe why are these important iii.
