The final project is to prepare all the elements of a fundraising event from concept to the point of delivery although the event will not actually have to be produced. Each team of two students will also prepare and deliver a presentation to the class to give the overview of the event, the objectives, and creative elements as envisioned. Images and diagrams should be used to illustrate the visual concepts. Project Outline: 1. Select a non-profit to be the beneficiary of your mock event 2. Brainstorm and research existing events to select your plan for your case event. 3. Prepare a project plan including timeline to produce and deliver the event. 4. Analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to your event. 5. Identify qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure event success. 6. Design the concept and delivery of the event. 7. Prepare a financial plan and budget (revenues and expenses) for the event. The revenue plan will include sponsors, vendors and attendees. 8. Prepare a marketing and communications plan that includes all stakeholders. 9. Prepare a logistics plan including all resources required to deliver the event. - Venue - Audio Visual - Food & beverage - Floor plan 10. Develop a volunteers or paid staff schedule for human resources required to assist with running the event. 11. Analyze any ethical, legal, risk-management, safety, and security issues associated with planning and managing the event. 12. Describe the delivery of the event including specific details on what will take place as the event is delivered. 13. Prepare an event follow-up plan outlining how the metrics will be quantified. Include floor plan diagrams, photographs, and other visual representations to demonstrate the event design. Length and Format Each section shall not exceed 300 words (approximately one page).
