1. Family: How do we live together as a family? roles responsibilities, rights, rituals, view of childhood, ways we help each other

2. Social: How do we live as a community? Traditions, rituals, greetings, age and gender roles, celebrations, healing, handling crisis

3. Belief/Ideology: What we believe guides all other systems; what sacred or secular beings/ideas guide our practices, behavior, hopes

4. Economic: How do we survive? Work, contribution education, apprenticeship, service

5. Political: How do we get along as a community? Rules, morals, values, virtues, justice, fairness, power and control

6. Education: How do we prepare to survive as adults? Who educates, what is the focus of schooling, when does it happen?
