TOPIC: Generative AI

Generative AI is a form of artificial intelligence that processes data, recognizes patterns, and creates new data based on the information it has learned. Generative AI works through the use of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). GANs have two parts, a generator and a discriminator. Generative AI is created by pitting these two networks against each other. The generator generates new data, while the discriminator compares the new data and the source data and decides what of the new data more closely resemblesthe source. The result is a set of newly generated data, that is formatted in the same style as the source (Simsek, 2022).

Using this strategy AI can recreate data in a variety of ways, including audio, images, and text. The computer uses patterns from original content and recreates it. For example, a computer using Generative AI was given an image. Using this image, the computer was ablerecreate the datain differentunique styles of other famous artists (Zhu et al., 2017).

Generative AI is now being tested and used in a variety of different business practices. It has the ability to help software developers write code more efficiently, it can help healthcare professionals identify ailments, if can even help detect fraud all by recognizing patterns (Vyas, 2022). It could potentially help Trusty Carpets as well. It could help recognize trends in prefer carpet patterns or help automate business reporting.
